Cute little bakery owned by a retired couple. All homemade baked goodies, ready to go and preordered. We pre-ordered a two layer vanilla cake ($55) for my grandmother's birthday. They were able to fulfill our order even though we only called in the morning and asked for it to be done by the evening. We were very grateful they were able to make our cake in time. The cake was a little too thick for our taste, but overall good. We also grabbed a carrot or chocolate cake slice already baked (I believe $8-9,) which were fairly big, we sliced one slice into 3 portions. The carrot cake was our favorite!

Spinach cheese tomato pie was delicious. Kids didn't care for cookies cause I think they don't use a lot of sugar but I liked them. Cinnamon roll was ok. Really mushy and frosting had a hint of orange or something. A lot of cinnamon so you have to be a fan. Go early. Not a lot of choices so I can see how they sell out.

Best bakery on earth!! Great selection of gluten free baked goods and the veggie burritos are excellent. Love it!

Love, love, love!! This place makes me so happy! I've eaten here for lunch twice. They have a very small selection of lunch items, but everything I've tried has been delicious. We've also left with some tasty treats to take back to our condo. We've tried the carrot cake, chocolate cake, puddle cookies, granola and a blueberry scone. All were fantastic! Just a heads up, this is a small place and seating is outside. The people here are very nice. It's so wonderful to have a place like this in Santa Rosa area!

Their chocolate puddle cookies are amazing. Gluten-free. Moist and chewy, like a brownie. Perfect amount of nuts. My favorite treat at the beach!!!

Excellent service and excellent food. The place is really small on the inside but don't let that fool you. The people who work here are very friendly and personable, excellent customer service. I came here for lunch after a long run, and wasn't sure what to get and it was suggested by the lady at the counter that I try their Spinach Pie. I was so happy that I did, it was delicious. Nothing like a meal that is yummy and healthy for you. There are plenty of tables to sit outside. I really like this area of the Emerald Coast, it is a step above the others. It's not overly touristy and it's not southern fried hick like some of the others, it's high end but at the same time friendly. This place will definitely be a must after all of my runs when I'm in that area.

We have been here a few times while visiting the Blue Mountain Beach area over the years. It's a teeny-tiny location. The smells inside are always so good! You can't resist getting something. They have a variety of fresh baked breads and pastries. The prices are on the higher side, but they give you large portions. We like their oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and cinnamon banana bread. The staff is always very nice.

Very unfriendly owner - acts annoyed when you are waiting to order. Over priced and they cinnamon rolls taste just like Cinnabon - save your time and money and go somewhere else. Only makes 12 cinnamon rolls and is mad when you place a big order. Will not ever return.

Best gluten-free, vegan (aka plant-based) treats I have ever enjoyed. The banana chocolate chip muffin exploded with flavor. The chocolate chip cookie was delicious but the muffin was better (if you need to choose). Husband got the puddle cookie and a blueberry scone. He said the scone was tastier. The puddle cookie is gluten-free but contains egg white. I do not know about the scones. Why the comments on the wonderful flavor and consistency of these products? In the gluten-free world, bakers struggle to get the texture to match our expectations. So, they add lots of starches and sugar to offset the lack of binding in the gluten-free flours. Thus, you taste a lot of sugar. But not at La Loba's Bakery. The flavor shines through and it is obvious they are using quality techniques and ingredients. FYI: There is a basket on a shelf with day old products--worth looking at. My guess is they are still excellent and a great value for 50% off. The cashier did not know all the answers to my questions but happily went to the baker to address my concerns. The Chocolate Granola does use milk fat which I discovered after the purchase. Good to know if you are dairy free. I will look for someone who will enjoy it. Unless it is a nice day, don't plan on sitting here. The bakery is really tiny and crowded. There are tables and chairs outside. The building is rather deceptive as it also houses a bike rental company and a natural grocery store; the bakery takes up one small section of the building. It is a good thing that we discovered this place mid-trip: easier on the waistline and pocketbook that way.

Get the puddle cookie. My parents/godparents retired down here & they raved "the greatest cookie in the world" being in Destin. This is a little hole-in-wall bakery....its cramped, albeit "cozy", only space for one customer at a time but the place smelled amazing & the waitstaff very friendly (they promptly made a fresh pot of coffee when I wanted a cup to go with my cookie/experience of a lifetime.) No wall menu- we can see what they have (& you really only need to get the cookie anyway.) Apparently they are a whole-foods/organic bakery which would explain why their pumpkin pie tasted different than usual. My folks say it was missing the sugar- I didn't think it was all too bad, but they might have used all of their extra-fine stuff in their puddles cookies. Oh- did I mention those are to die for? ..well, at least worth the $2 a pop.

I miss this place so much!!! The Maple Pecan Granola is the best thing on the planet. I use to live in Destin and would drive over to 30A on my lunch break and buy bags of these for myself and my family back in Texas. Everything is homemade from scratch and they use local ingredients. The cinnamon rolls are as big as your head and the scones are the best I have ever had in my life. The blueberry are my favorite, crispy, buttery and fluffy. I had never had a real scone until I had one from La Loba's! If you live here you get a local discount and if you don't they ship anywhere you want.

We fell in love with this tiny bakery while on vacation near Destin. My sister-in-law is vegan, and after we discovered its existence, we went to La Loba's every day. The cupcakes and cookies were divine, as were the stuffed croissants. And the much-hyped granola? We bought 4 bags to take back home with us.

What a great find! We were looking for some pastries to have in the room for an early breakfast the day we headed home and found this woderful little gem. The two cinnamon rolls were amazing and the puddle cookies as good as the previous reviewer had said. We bought a loaf of organic wheat bread for home but haven't tried it yet. The owners were just as wonderful as were the baked goods. We asked about finding some good fresh ground coffe we could brew the next morning and they sold us some of the organic and fair trade coffe they serve. We haven't tried lunch, only becasue we didn't find them until the afternoon before we went home, but will definately try that on our next trip!

Chocolate puddles are amazing... and gluten free! Do not miss the key line pie. Took a whole pie for dinner guests and everyone raved about it. Owner cares, is very talented in the cooking department & very friendly. Bathroom is accessible, but getting through the hallway leading to the bathroom may not be easy for some, as the hallway is used for storage.

They offer the best homemade baked goods and lunch items. We usually pick up a loaf of bread when it's available. What a charming gem for South Walton. In the summer it's nice pick up some food and walk to the beach or sit on their patio area.

I spent a week in Santa Rosa Beach and went to the bakery nearly every day. Great baked goods, including a gluten free menu and they had excellent organic burritos available for lunch. If you're looking for something cheap and run of the mill, this is not the place to go. The prices are good for the quality and quantity of food you will receive. I will definitely visit this place again next time I am in North Florida. Until then, and will be ordering whatever I can from their website.
